B2B e-invoicing is now mandatory in Romania

Deadlines follow one another rapidly in Romania, with the latest being the nationwide mandate for B2B e-invoicing starting on July 1, 2024.

This B2C e-invoicing mandate will be implemented in quick succession after the B2B mandate planned for the coming weeks.

Starting from June 1, failure to comply with the e-reporting mandate in Romania will be sanctioned in accordance with Law 296/2023.
